sunset at greylock

Mount Greylock, the highest peak in Massachusetts, is the perfect spot for a sunset picnic with friends. Let’s not mention we kidnapped one of the aforementioned friends, ransacked Stop & Shop for an non-cohesive meal of apples and popcorn, and ate in the parked car because early October was already too cold. It was exactly what I needed on that day. Swing dancing. Socks with sandals. Piggy-back rides. The photos are full of sun glares and blur, but they show how it felt to be up there with cold fingers and orange light, the smallness and largeness of the world below us.
